The 7th All India Hoteliers Conclave (HAI) inaugurated by Honourable Union Minister Mr. Gajender Singh Sekhawat in 18th Sept. attended by experts from the travel fraternity, DG, Tourism and Secretary Tourism GOI, Mr. Amitabh Kant was a great success.
Many brilliant suggestions were given by experts from the travel trade. Union Minister specially mentioned about the prime ministers desire for faster creation of 50 world class destinations in india encouraged the hospitality sector, to bring in more investments to make india a world class tourist destination.
The industry still needed the infrastructure status to get long term funding and to fill up the huge gap in getting skilled manpower for the hotel industry was still a major problems. I feel if the Govt. could subsidize hospitality education the institutions teaching hotel management could get more students from the tier 3 cities and our tribal community where employment problem could be taken care.
